We've Gone Apple Mad!
Our lower school students enjoyed an 'Apple Evening' organised by our local Orchard Group. They group took students around the college grounds and spoke about different types of trees. This was followed by a demonstration of apple pressing and apple juice tasting.
Students then enjoyed hot pork rolls with stuffing and apple sauce, followed by lots of puddings with an apple theme including a large selection of tarts, pies, strudels, muffins and ice cream. To finish the evening the students played a variety of games including 'Pin the Apple on the Caterpillar', 'Apple Bobbing' and a 'Doughnut on a String' eating race.
