Volunteer
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE?
WHY NOT BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT NEW COLLEGE WORCESTER?
New College Worcester (NCW) is always on the lookout for prospective volunteers. If you have some spare time and want to make a difference then we could be the place for you, whatever your skills and interests are.
Voluntary work can be rich and fulfilling, bringing joy to people’s lives and enabling you to give something positive back to the community. In our experience, the commitment and enthusiasm plus wide range of skills, life-experiences and interests of past volunteers have always made a positive and worthwhile contribution towards the progress of our students. This is something we want to continue to encourage and develop. So come and:-
- Make a big difference to your life and those around you.
- Meet new people and gain confidence.
- Be a team player and friend.
- Use your existing skills and knowledge.
- Gain new skills and knowledge.
NCW is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is conditional on an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and satisfactory references.
We would also consider students who are interested in doing their higher studies in medicine, social work or teacher training - a unique work experience would await you but your commitment would be required.
If interested, please contact Reception on 01905 763933 and ask for Rod Orr.
