Visit from Famous Children's Author
We were bowled over by our visit from Meg Rosoff last term. She came and shared lunch with our Reading Group and then spoke to the older students and many staff.
Meg donated an audio copy of her latest book, 'The Bride's Farewell' and the students found her talk absolutely inspirational. Many wrote heart felt thank you letters to her and we were very grateful to the RNIB National Library who organised and funded the visit. Since it took place many more students have been enjoying Meg's books.
