Specsavers Raise Funds for NCW
Specsavers, in Worcester have held coffee mornings throughout the month of February, and raised enough money to buy four pairs of headphones for the college. The Sony Centre, in Worcester also kindly donated a pair.
The head sets were presented by representatives of Specsavers and Sony, to our Head Girl and College Librarian, Cathy Wright.
College fundraiser, Anne Priestley, said "We are very grateful to the management and staff of Specsavers, and the Manager of The Sony Centre, in Worcester, for their generous support. The headphones we had were so tired and worn out that we have had to use the speakers on the TV, which has meant that other library users were disturbed. Now peace has been has been restored to the Library!"
