Outreach
Supporting the teaching community
Outreach is the curriculum support service provided by NCW. One of the roles of outreach is to provide advice and information to help visually impaired students and their teachers.
We have a selection of classroom resources available to assist you in teaching the national curriculum to children with sight problems. We also organise several Outreach Open Days each year where visitors have the opportunity to meet subject teachers, get hands-on experience of specialist equipment, and get practical support and advice on specific curriculum areas of their choice.
If you would like to talk to us about arranging Outreach support in your school, please contact Dr Chris Stonehouse on 01905 763933 or e-mail cstonehouse@newcollegeworcester.co.uk
