These informal days will give you a taste of how we teach visually impaired students, the opportunity to meet subject teachers, and offers practical support and advice on specific curriculum areas of your choice such as Maths, PE, Music, Independent Living Skills, Science, Braille etc.
Who should attend?
Education professionals new to supporting visually impaired young people in specific curriculum areas, either in a mainstream or specialist setting, or parents of a student with a visual impairment.

Is there a charge?
The Outreach Open Days are free of charge to both professionals and parents.
When and where?
The days are held at the college in Worcester and run from 9:45am-3:15pm. The day includes free refreshments. An optional sandwich/soup lunch is charged at £3 per head, payable on the day.
