NCW student, Liam Midwood has published a book of poetry called "My Life in Rhymes - Touched by Blindness", which chronicles his life over the past two years. When Liam was going through a bad patch at his old school, he found that writing poetry was a great outlet for his feelings.

Since winning a prize for his poetry, Liam has recieved praise for his work from popular children's author Jacqueline Wilson who said: "Liam's poems are heartfelt and sincere. He's a sensitive boys who loves words. His poems make you smile, make you think, make you sad. He is blind but he makes his readers see."

Copies of book can be bought directly from NCW, from online at Amazon, or through the National Blind Children's Society and costs £4.99.
