Peter White, a former NCW pupil and Radio 4 presenter, returned to the college to talk about his old school days in a feature called “My Old School” in which The One Show invites well known media personalities to return to their former schools and talk about their experiences and memories.

Central News - Echolocation Expert Visits NCW
This clip shows a visit from Daniel Kish, the world leading expert on human echolocation and how he teaches staff and students to 'see' the world by using clicking sounds with his mouth, similar to animal echolocation used by bats and dolphins. With this method he demonstrates how he can ride bike in unfamiliar surroundings and navigate his way around obsticles.
