Our local GP holds a morning surgery on campus once a week
Students have the opportunity to talk to our experienced counsellor at any time, should they need it. We also take a proactive approach to healthy eating and the benefits of exercise for all students.
Nurse Julie is a RMN trained nurse and acts as liaison between all services - referring students if necessary to outside agencies, GP services and counsellors.
Our nursing staff support and advise Houseparents, and link to students’ GPs to provide a holistic approach to each student’s health care. They arrange off-site medical appointments and have close links with other specialist healthcare professionals, such as diabetic specialist nurses.
The nurses also provide training for NCW teaching staff to ensure a high and consistent standard of knowledge across the Campus.
