German Exchange 20 Years Celebration!
NCW recently celebrated it’s 20th year of exchange with our partner school in Marburg, Germany. To mark the occasion, a small group of our students and our visitors went to meet the Lord Mayor in his Parlour in Worcester’s Guildhall. This was followed by tea and an informal chat, before a photographer from the local press came to take a photo of us with the Mayor. Fame at last!
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the party we held, where former students and staff from previous exchange visits had been invited back to join in with the celebrations. A real blast from the past! It was great to have the opportunity to catch up with everyone and hear their news. One of the former students, who left NCW in 1991, said it had been a “thoroughly enjoyable day” and added “Let’s do it again for 30 years.” Well, here’s to the next 10 years!
