Secondly, teaching in a college for the visually impaired, as a blind man himself.

Thirdly, as one who regained his sight and at the age of eighty-seven was chosen to represent England in a Bridge Trophy Match against Ireland.

How you can help

New College Worcester charges fees to local authorities and Learning and Skills Councils to cover the basic costs of the learning and residential services it provides to its students. However it is increasingly reliant on fundraised income to deliver improvements to college buildings and facilities, to buy new equipment and to extend the opportunities for personal learning that it offers its students.

If you would like to make a donation to support our work in the meantime, please complete the form below and send it with a cheque made payable to 'New College Worcester' to Anne Priestley, Fundraising Manager, New College Worcester, Whittington Road, Worcester, WR5 2JX.
