Exam Success!
Students and staff were delighted with the GCSE and A-level results achieved this year. Students in Year 11 took a wide range of GCSE’s including subjects which are normally thought to present difficulties to students with a visual impairment, including Science, Drama and Geography.
70% of students obtained over five A-C grades and 60% obtained five A-C’s including Maths and English. 25% of exam grades were A or A* and our top two students, obtained six A/A* grades. Most of the students have gone onto our Sixth Form to study a range of AS subjects.
The Sixth Form results continued to be strong with 48% of A-level grades being A-C with most of our students obtaining their first or second university place.
