Award Winning Student!
Sixth form student, Liam has won Worcester Young Citizen of the Year for his incredible achievements through his charity work for organisations such as Living Paintings and the Children’s Society, where he works as a volunteer and gives motivational speeches.
He is also a successful poet, who has written and published two poetry books, donating the proceeds to Alstoms UK to help raise awareness of the condition.
Liam was handed a trophy for Worcester Young Citizen of the Year by the Mayor of Worcester, at a ceremony at Worcester’s Guildhall in February and will go forward to the national competitions.
Liam’s mom Liz said “I’m just so proud of Liam. He’s worked so hard and given up so much of his time for the charities he supports. It’s so nice that these organisations have recognised his hard work. He’s such a great son!”
